So me and my wife have had some ups and downs. We aren’t as young as we used to be. To sum it all up we are both on our second marriages. Her first husband cheated and filed, my wife passed away. When we were going through the dating phase we had the typical conversations such as raising kids and having some of our own. She has since made comments about she was fine just having her son, which isn’t what she told me when we were dating. So we have just brought a new life into this world and I’m absolutely crazy about her. During the pregnancy she had a hard time, sick every day, no slept etc. I can completely empathize with that. But what I can’t shake is the comments she has said to me. Such as, too bad she, (our daughter) couldn’t be perfect like her brother and when she is 8 months old she better learn to self soothe. She even made an off hand (joke) about carrying our baby back to the hospital to drop her off. I’m all for being the father her son’s dad isn’t, but I can’t stand by anymore and let our daughter get shafted. There’s much more to the story in terms of comments. I literally wish we had never met and I would have just stayed single, which is crazy because I have always wanted a child. Matter of fact my first wife and me just had our house approved to adopt before she passed. I need help!!!!
