50/50 husband

My non providing husband complains that i don’t do anything for him. Amongst those things is i don’t cook. Lol i told him he can cook too since we go 50/50 on finances. He says well he cant cook and since i can i should be doing it. And that if someone was to break into our high-rise apartment he would protect me so in return i basically need to be traditional and play my role. Am i missing something. I actually do cook most times but i also work all the time while he retired and makes more than me but still wants 50/50. Recently i stopped cooking except for the kids because im not breaking my back for him.
