12 week ultrasound
i went in today for my nuchal translucency 12 week ultrasound and as the tech was moving around getting images i saw her go between the legs and saw a nub consistent with a girl. then she started typing at the top to label in the image and typed “FEM X2” i’m assuming indicating “female, two X chromosomes”. i asked if that meant that baby was a girl, and she said no. but i can’t shake this feeling that it was. she said it was too early to tell, but that’s a weird label to type if you don’t know the sex… i’m just kind of upset because A) this is our last baby and a shitty way to find out gender… and B) i was honestly hoping for a boy🥲. IM VERY HAPPY AND GRATEFUL baby is healthy! Just kind of bummed if this ends up being how i found out. is there ANY chance nub theory isn’t accurate? anyone have pictures of their boys at 12 weeks so i can have some hope 😭
