early testing ?

Hello am I testing too early? I ovulated on the 8th I had all the cramps and the ovulation spotting and on the 7th I had static smiley face… I have done a pregnancy test strip and it’s saying negative I couidnifnsworn it was positive but then after the 5 min time it said negative google says around this time
I should be having implantation…

Implantation happens between 6dpo and 12dpo and then you need 2 to 3 days for hcg to build up enough for a test. Which means you could have a positive pregnancy test anywhere between 8dpo and 15dpo. Most commonly implantation happens between 8dpo and 10dpo which would mean that most commonly you should have a positive pregnancy test between 10dpo and 12dpo. 8dpo is still very early for a positive pregnancy test.

8-10 dpo is when implantation is most common but you wouldn't test positive for another 2-3 days. Just wait a few more days to test again.

I got my first positive at 9 dpo and a positive clear blue peak opk at 8dpo.  I think it just depends tbh
