My mom has had this dog since she was a puppy. She’s around 10 now. She’s a small dog but extremely aggressive to everyone but my mom. She’s bite and tried to bite multiple people. Literally anyone but my mom. My mom even put the dog through training. Nothing worked. But the dog was very loving towards my mom and my mom lives alone so it was never a problem. My mom now has early dementia which is getting worse and worse. She can’t live alone now because of safety concerns so next weekend she’ll be moving in with me after she’s discharged from the hospital. The dog is at my mom’s house and I can over and feed her. She tries to attack me every time.

My problem now is, my mom needs to move in with me and my 2 young kids who the dog has tried to bite on multiple occasions. I also live in a house that isn’t possible to keep the dog separated from my kids. Being that my mom will also have a nurse with her half the day I have no where to put the dog. The dog will try to attack the nurse. The dog will try to attack me. My young kids. I’m trying to find someone who will take the dog but nobody will because of how aggressive the dog is. I don’t think I have any other options besides bringing him to a shelter. Which I hate to do but if I had any other options I wouldn’t choose the shelter. My mom doesn’t remember the dog most days either. Any advice
