Only when I’m very ill. I would rather go to work sick than create sub plans lol.

I have 4 weeks vacay/sick plus 3 floating holidays. I use most of my days every year! I take days off to see a movie or get a massage. They’re my days, I’m going to use them.

Yes I do. If you have PTO/ sick time then I use it. I work for it so I will use it.

I’m a millennial. I was a mid level sales manager. Ive work for corporate America for 15 years. Your job doesn’t give a shit about you. If you have vacation time, use it. Sick time? Use it. Personal time? Use it. Every benefit you can get your hands on? Use them. If you dropped dead tomorrow, your family MIGHT get flowers. Use your time. Sunny day? Enjoy it. Rainy day? Stay home and stay dry, Netflix and order in. I’m pro act your wage. I promise they don’t pay you enough to care as much as you do.

I never used to, like I suffered through everything. Was in pain for days and then found out I needed surgery and felt bad I didn’t give any notice 🤦🏼‍♀️. Emergency appendix removal, they ambulanced me an hour away. And I thought I could come back after one day off. Doctor and everyone said easy surgery and I should be doing normal things the following day. They were so wrong! At least for me. My work also states you should take your time off even for mental health days but when it comes down to it it only applies to upper management. Me on the low end gets in trouble if I don’t make up my time I was gone for, even holding a bank of 6weeks pto. They’d rather pay you out pto instead of allowing you to take it.
