Would I be wrong to leave him?

My boyfriend lost his job a week ago. Before that we been going through a rough patch where it seems we’re both not happy. We had a talk, I thought everything would be fine but it went back to same way it was before. We got into an argument 2 nights ago and once again confronted the problem but honestly I don’t expect any change and I’ve already had it in my mind that I was gonna end it but then he lost his job and I didn’t wanna add to that. I then decided to just end it before I get reeled back in and of course, that same day his car stops working. It seems every time I make my mind up, something happens. So I finally decided to just break up with him as soon as he finds a job and I been thinking to myself is it wrong to leave then knowing I want out now?
