So confusing!

So ever since march I bleed like twice a month & doctor barely checked my hormones like 2 weeks ago. I got my results today and everything came back normal so I technically don’t know what’s causing the bleeding??? He just said it can be my weight (I’m 5’4 and 210lbs ) so maybe it is my weight😭. Anyways he prescribed me birth control? To regulate my menstrual cycle😭 being a girl is so confusing! Did anyone go on bc for this problem and did it work for you?🥲🫶🏻
