Please read! I’m not some Scrooge - I actually do love Christmas. If you don’t read you’ll miss the context! 😝

My husbands side is talking about it and apparently asked my husband if I wanted to be apart of the secret Santa and I said this:

“Honestly no thanks this year, not only will money be tight but I don’t want to commit to someone’s gift and then not be able to attend, plus I don’t want to be any further from home than normal”

The reason I stated this is because our baby is due DECEMBER 27th. Our last baby came two days early lol. Our first baby came one day early. Basically it’s a combination of the weather (who knows what the snow will be like) and being fully pregnant right at Christmas.

Hubby thinks I’m being unreasonable because “this is Christmas and family matters”. I absolutely agree….but I’m gonna be crazy pregnant and the last place I want to be is in a house of kids and noise and smells and germs 30 seconds before my due date….i also don’t want him going without me - simply because if something happened, I need him! He’s my hubby!

(PS I just wanna say that when we got married about an hour away it was the day before his cousin was due to have a baby and they kindly said no we won’t go because it’s sooooo close to the due date and no one batted an eye - but here I am getting some minor minor grief for the same thing?!?! I also wanna add that our hospital is 40 minutes away without the snow and the house where Christmas would happen would be 1.5 hours from the hospital sooooo)
