crampsss

so im on the pill, have been for over a year (i take Evelyn 150/30) and i had started taking it because of really bad cramps and because of sexual activity. i had been told by multiple people that it helps them with their cramps but it hasn't necessarily helped me. my cramps are excruciating, and even pain meds take a long time to kick in and it doesn't even help that much. i really have no idea what to do about it, any advice would be helpful.
