When would you ask again?

I've been on a dates with a guy. I'm 21 and so is he. This was our 5th day and I found out he's a divorcee. I asked him "Wow. You seem pretty young to be divorced." And I asked what happened in his marriage. He goes "That's a story for day a little bit later when I'm a lot more drunker." It was funny but seriously. When should I ask again?

I feel like it’s reasonable to ask once you’re semi serious. sorry but divorced at 21 is gonna carry some baggage. I would need to know why bc I date to marry 😂 I don’t wanna get a year or a few down the line and turns out he’s a serial cheater or something
