Still getting faint positives

Has this ever happened to anyone else? I just moved to a new state and don’t have a DR here yet. I was a week late for my period when i first tested. I got a faint but visibly faint positive test. Tested again the next morning, it was slightly more faint. I started bleeding so i figured it was just a chemical but the bleeding was only semi heavy for a day and a half then went to spotting. TMI sorry but the bleeding was bright red and only had one small clot come out. I’m still having pregnancy symptoms two weeks later so i took another test and it was also a very faint positive. Should the hcg have been gone by now especially if the test was light to begin with? I’m not having a weird pain, i just feel pregnant and have stretching and twinging sensations and very mild tingling in my breasts. I had a chemical two years ago and the bleeding was much heavier and with clots, i also never started feeling any pregnancy symptoms so I’m generally just confused. Is there a possibility that i didn’t lose the pregnancy? Can lines just always be light on tests?
