Starting combo feeding

My baby just turned 7 months old and so far has been EBF. I’m thinking about switching to formula as I work part time 3 days a week and am tired of pumping. I’m wondering if it’s possible to give formula during the day while I’m working and still breastfeed while she’s home with me? (Morning and night?) has anyone done this successfully? Would I still be engorged during the day? Appreciate and advice!
