High blood pressure

Kinda long rant alert 😅

I’m 9+1 & last night I went to patient first for fluids but they ended up telling me they couldn’t treat me & called the ER & told me to immediately go there. I was dehydrated (suspected I have HG) & received fluids but my blood pressure was a bit high at patient first and also at the hospital. I was told to continue monitoring twice a day & today my readings are still consistent with being high (last reading being 137/83).

My dr moved my appt to Monday but has anyone else experienced this before? This is my 3rd pregnancy & have never had high blood pressure with any of my pregnancies (or before my pregnancy’s). Just curious as to what would cause it this time around & what other peoples experiences are. TIA (:
