Husband refuses sex

So I am pregnant with my third baby and we have never had issues with sex before. I take good care of myself, dont gain a lot of weight each time, and return to normal pre pregnancy size post partum. This time has been similar so far, but I developed a very painful thrombosed hemorrhoid recently. Fortunately it is starting to heal on its own, much less painful and angry, but the bulge persists and likely will for the forseeable future. My husband declared it a deal breaker. He hates how it looks and states he wont have sex until I get it "taken care of." I cant have elective surgery pregnant, so this means 5-6 months from now. And frankly, if its not bothering me, a painful cosmetic procedure down there post partum doesnt sound fun. I feel generally pretty hurt that he would rather not be intimate for the next half year and subject me to something invasive and painful, than deal with a small imperfection. Am I being too sensitive? It does make me wonder what happens if I needed a mastectomy or some other major body altering procedure.
