Bfn & off and on cramps, is there still a chance for a +

I’ve felt like my period is coming on for the past 4 days. I get all crampy and crabby for an hour or so, and then all my PMS symptoms disappear. I took a test yesterday, and I’m pretty sure it’s completely negative.

My cycle is usually between 31-34 days. I’m currently cd 33 (I didn’t temp this month because I was sick mid-cycle.) and wondering if yesterday’s bfn means I’m out of luck this cycle. And why are my cramps showing up and the going away; I typically only start to cramp a couple of hours before my flow starts.
