How often do your kids get sick when school starts?

Since covid my children get sick every month as soon as school starts. I’m not Joking! We get sick this often it’s so frustrating to recover from a virus and then again get sick with a different one. This is every year virus after virus from September until may 😩 and this started happening since covid, before covid we barely got sick and now my poor babies are always sick.

My 4 year old has been in daycare since she was 12 weeks old and for the first ~3 years it was like every 2 weeks. She’d be sick for 2 weeks, well for 2 weeks from about November until February. now we get one good illness a year. last year we got Covid in November and the flu in Feb. And that was about it. My 4 month old is in daycare and she’s had 2 mild colds in the last month alone.

For us it’s been once sickness after the other. My daughter is in daycare and I’m pregnant due in Jan and we are taking her out of daycare because both she and I continue to get sick. We haven’t had a break since June when we put her in.
