TTC After STI

Hi all, recently I went in for my Pap smear and it was positive for chlamydia swab. My husband and I have been together for two years, prior to us being together we both were single and seeing other people. My last pap was 4 years ago. I’m afraid I could have contracted it before him, or possibly when I first got with him (from him) which would have been 2 years ago. Neither of us have ever knowingly had an STI or anything in the past. I’m afraid the reason I haven’t gotten pregnant in 9 months was because of that possibility scarring my organs, but I do also have PCOS. We got the shot in our butt & two antibiotics to take for a week. My questions for you are

1. Has anyone had chlamydia and when it cleared up, got pregnant?

2. Has anyone had to get their tubes cleared from scarring from an STI?

3. Is anyone absolutely infertile from an STI?

I definitely learned my lesson and even though we are monogamous I’m going to be testing regardless and regularly because this definitely scared the heck out of me. And that ass shot hurt so bad. Neither of us had any symptoms which made the results harder to hear.
