I just want to get this off my chest.

I resent my MIL so much ! She was so cruel to not even give us a card for our engagement.

She goes out of her way to visit to show off the fabulous lives her other children / family are having. The woman all married into money and they like to show this off. She likes to go along for the ride !

She recently told me all about the lovely engagement gift she was getting for someone, yet couldn’t even be bothered to gift us as much as a card for ours ?!

She makes out how lovely and nice she is. Everyone has been fooled! Shes not !! She’s selfish and wants her son to be a second husband. Always at her beck and call.

I can see very clearly now the life the long term ex of my partner had !!! She hated the mother and didn’t want her visiting. I always wondered why.

I’ve been super kind to her and treated her like a second mother. The dynamic changed when we got engaged.

I knew what she was like on my first valentines with her son. She commented how much bigger my flowers were than hers !!!

I have no time for her now and I’ve told my partner I don’t like the unannounced visits that she persistently keeps doing. Then when she arrives, she takes phone calls and then expects me to drop what I’m doing.
