Husband said he would see a therapist but isn't comfortable seeing a man

My husband has recently received his second assault charge in his life. His first was from over 10 years ago. This was the post about that.

I know people said my husband needs therapy and we talked again about it after he met with his lawyer today to discuss him taking his plea deal. He said he's open to therapy. However he wouldn't do it with a man again. His male therapist from high school abused him so he never tried therapy again.

I completely understand that. There is something that makes me uncomfortable about him being vulnerable with another woman. I know he needs to see a therapist. I just feel uncomfortable with it being a woman.
