Is 25 to old to take piano lessons?

I feel like I’m way to old to take lessons but it was always a childhood dream that I never had an opportunity to do. I just feel embarrassed to start lessons.. but I remember wanting to take lessons at 20 and was embarrassed to then. Has anyone learned to play piano this late? How long does it usually take to learn?

I’m 31 and my husband is buying me my first piano for Christmas this year. I’ve always wanted to learn how, never had the time or resources. But it’s not too late at all. In fact I have such a newfound love for learning in my 30’s. I want to be an archeologist, a mortician, a biologist, jeweler. Lol.

Never to late!! I still take music lessons at 35, as i feel it makes me improve, even after playing the same instrument for over 25 years. If my dream was to learn another instrument i would definitely start by taking lessons.
