HELP AND ADVICE PLEASE!!

Hi people advice please....

I was due on my period Christmas Day, it never came, I've had the tiniest bit of bleeding over a 24h period BUT only when I wipe, it was pinkish, then went a little brown, nothing on a pad when I wore one thinking it was my period.. this stopped completely yesterday, I feel very sick and have had few cramps, again nothing major, l haven't done a test yet as yes I want a baby but I don't want this to be my head playing tricks and it be negative and my period is on its way although I don't feel like it's coming anytime soon, I want to say I feel a bit different.... Should I test? Any advice please 🙏
