Boiling water skin burn, please help 😩

Please Help. Sorry for this pic, it’s boiling water burn on top of already healed old scar. It looked pink first like sunburnt then it started to look dark. I’m really worried that it may leave a scar. Do you think it will leave a scar? What should I do to prevent it from scarring? Any tried and effective methods that really work? Please advice. Thanks
