Probably a stupid question

So this is my second pregnancy in a few months first was a mmc and I was just wondering like how late is too late to ring the midwife’s to tell them you’re pregnant, the first appointment would be around 8 weeks so if I rang the week before would that be okay? I’m just so nervous and don’t want to jinx anything, I’ve only just told my partner, I know I probably sound silly but the anxiety is what eats me away
