Sickle Cell Labor Question

Are there any moms with sickle cell that went into labor naturally and/or had a no epidural labor? Pregnant with my second baby now & I'm curious if your doctor told you it was highly encouraged for you to be induced. I was induced with my first and those pitocin contractions had me absolutely abandon my no epidural plan. My doctor woth my first pregnancy made it seem like if i went into labor on my own than it was almost guaranteed to send me into a crisis. It really felt like a scare tactic because he could never provide any evidence or statistics. My sickle cell is pretty mild. I have maybe 2 crisis a year and most times i dont need a transfusion. Id love to hear your stories ladies
