Full time work & School?

Question

Any single moms here that has worked full time,went to school & took care of home all by themselves with NO help? I'm a single mom of 2 working full time and have been wanting to go to school for the longest but the fact is working full time and school while being a single mom just seems impossible especially with 0 help. I just lost my car so i don't even have transportation anymore which makes anything and everything almost impossible now. How did you do it?
What were your tricks?

I’m currently a full time working, single mom and I also just started my masters degree. I take online classes so that allows me to have some flexibility with school and my job is flexible as well. Maybe look for wfh jobs and online schooling.

I just started school in September my job has a weekend schedule. I switched to that shift so im off Monday-Thursday yes i get all my 40+ hrs in, in all 3 days i though it was going to be impossible because i also have a learning disability. But schools offers resources and i got all As. School is hard but your teachers is your bestfriend. Ask questions ask for help. If they see your trying they will help you

Maybe you can apply for help. I know my cousin who is a single mom that works was able to get child care assistance, you may also qualify for financial support while in school along with working less hours and you can also try sticking to online classes. There are some school that are only online so you can try that.

I’m not a single mom. But I am someone who didn’t go to school and makes slightly over $100k. In 2025 unless you’re looking for a career in something like nursing, or something law related, my opinion is school isn’t necessary. Unless you have time and money to burn, I personally wouldn’t do it. I work for a bank. I started in the call center. I prefer jobs with some sort of commission/incentive on top of hourly and benefits. I’ve held 11 positions in the last 15 years for the same company. I just worked hard, became an expert at my position and networked my ass off to get to the position I wanted.
