12m pp pregnancy experiences?

has anyone fallen pregnant 12 months postpartum? if so how were your pregnancy's? any different from first or any complications? want to start trying again for baby #2 and my sons about to turn 1 in february and want to hear people's experiences 🥰

I had “3 under 3” (my oldest turned 4 a couple months before delivery) 1 and 2  with an 18m gap when I fell pregnant was planned the last baby I got pregnant 5 months PP. My second and third deliveries were complicated. Third much more complicated than the second one but according to my OB nothing to do with back to back pregnancies. Both pregnancies were good except GD with my second which was easily managed early on. Judging by my track record I guess by 38 weeks my babies are ready to come out and start acting up freaking everyone out lol
But medically speaking there was no rhyme of reasons for these emergency inductions. Happy to be done with that.

I got pregnant with my second the month my first baby turned 1. It went well and the transition from 1-2 was not bad at all. Good luck!!

I got pregnant 8 months post PartyKing after my first, pregnancy went well, I did hemorrhage at birth but recovered well after that. The transition was not difficult as I felt I had 2 babies the same age haha but it is a busy schedule/life with two littles so little. Enough for me to wait 5 years for us to have more kids 😅

Got pregnant with my 3rd when my 2nd was 10 months. It was my easiest pregnancy, dreadfully sick with the 1st 2. It was like my body was still used to being pregnant from my 2nd so just kept going!

I’ve had all three of my babies in under three years and while I absolutely love the age gaps and would do it again in a heart beat, the pregnancies  were so much harder each time I got pregnant. Morning sickness turned into HG, hospitalizations and an emergency C-section with my last baby. I’m not trying to scare you because this might not be your experience but it was so rough. My OB said that it was most likely because of the stain on my body from back to back pregnancies so I just wanted to put this out there. As far as the actual babies, I love how close in age they all are. They get to have build in best friends and it’s amazing to get to see them become friends. For me, the transition to 1-2 was harder than 2-3 but not as difficult as being a FTM.

I got pregnant at 11 month pp. I didn’t have any complications, but it wasn’t great. Pain that I had in my first pregnancy that started at 28w, started at 13w my second pregnancy. I was in a lot of pain almost my entire pregnancy. I imagine I wouldn’t have experienced that if I put more time in between. That’s said, my kids are 20 months apart which is a great gap!
