urethra has burning sensation

i’m at a lost I have always had a burning sensation in my urethra at random times.. sometimes I can go a while without feeling it and sometimes I have random moments where I feel it for days constant.. it’s weird bc I test negative for uti so i’m really confused what this is.. I just enrolled in some insurance and my coverage doesn’t start until feb but I will make a doc appointment.. anyone know what this could possibly be?
