I got my IUD replaced and stopped having periods
I was at the doctor the other day and got a weird look when I said I haven’t had a period since last October, when I got my old IUD removed and a new one put in. It’s the hormonal IUD, and had stopped my periods before but after I had it for a few years the hormones in it went down, and I started getting periods again. I had the new one put in while ON my period and that was just the last period I had. Had the aftercare checkup and everything went fine. I haven’t even questioned not having a period with a new hormonal IUD. (Liletta, identical to mirena)
That’s not off track, right? I didn’t think a single thing about it until I got a weird look about not having a period in months.
