Newborn/baby essentials?

What’s some must haves in your opinion?! Loved to hear from other parents to see what other people liked or loved! What made these times a little bit easier for you!

You’re going to get 800 different answers here lol it ultimately depends on how your family/home functions and what your baby prefers. My first kid, I had all the things. Literally everything you could ever imagine, I owned it. Closets of clothes, shoes, blankets, everything you can think of. Didn’t use half of it. I’m about to have kids 3&4 and they have a safe place to sleep, a car seat, a handful of outfits a couple of blankets, a bouncer and my boobs. If and when they need more, I’ll buy it. But it’s likely they have more than enough to be fine. I did buy a couple months worth of diapers/wipes, but that was more because I caught a good sale. That stuff can be picked up as you go too.

Sleep sacks (with arms up, transitional) & Velcro swaddles.

A diaper caddy with handles and dividers so I could keep the necessities nearby no matter where we went. I kept diapers, wipe, pads, nipple balm, my pain meds, gas drops, some snacks, hair ties, chap stick etc. we have a 2 story home so it was nice not having to go up and down the stairs or have multiple baby stations set up.

Muslin blankets and lots of receiving blankets (for changings, spit ups etc). Gas drops, gripe water, swing, one-hand-opening water bottle for nursing.

Bottle warmer even if you're not doing formula for those times you need to warm stored breast milk, gas drops (my baby had colic bad), cradle cap brush
