First time mom!! Need advice!

I am looking for recommendations for the best and safest car seats, we are not too worried about price just looking for a good car seat. Pro if the car seat is light weight.

Chico key fit35 used it with my 3 kids and currently being used by a family friend we passed it on to. It was ok weight and the babies seemed very comfy. However if you’re not opposed to having a regular seat from the start I would recommend looking into Diono. Best seat I’ve personally come across.

I’ve had two maxi cosi and loved them. Not overpriced and super simple and light.

We’ve always used Chicco and really liked them. My mom has Graco and I don’t like those as much.
