1st trimester bleeding

I am 8 weeks pregnant and I have been bleeding light pink and mucus every few weeks, @ 5 weeks I bleed for 9 days , 7weeks I bled for 2 days , 8 weeks currently I bled starting today with a lot of clear thick discharge. I have had a ultrasound @6 weeks after I bled and there was a heart beat and everything looked good . Is it normal to be having discharge like this ??? My ob really couldn’t give me an answer her reaction was almost like she had never heard that before. Picture for reference
