What would you do if husband did nothing for Mother’s Day?

My husband and I have been married for 6 years. We have 3 children. This is not the first time he has done nothing for me for Mother’s Day. Other years I planned that we got together with family and did something. What would you do?

If it mattered that much to me, I’d plan the day I want. But I’d also look into why one day even mattered, because if I’m being treated well and appreciated like I should be, I don’t need one day to be acknowledged.

Did he atleast get you a gift? Some Flowers , a Card ? Or said happy Mother’s Day ?” Or like literally nothing ?

When I expect something I tell my husband what I'm hoping for or else how would he know? If your husband hasn't always been someone to plan surprises for you on holidays then you should tell him what you're wanting ahead of time.
