The “best” birth control

Hi everyone,

I’ve been thinking about going back on birth control but I’m hesitant because the implant made me bleed every day and gain an excess amount of weight.

I have been off birth control for over a year but I’m very scared of getting pregnant and I was curious as to what birth control you would advise for someone who does not want the aforementioned side effects? I am also a little scared of hormonal birth control but have also heard non hormonal (such as the copper coil) can cause extreme pain. If anyone has any advice or suggestions they would be much appreciated
