How long does rapid breathing last in RSV?

Toddler was diagnosed on Monday evening and today she is still breathing rapidly: I took her to the ER and doctor said that it’s normal and her oxygen was 95-96 can’t remember I’m running off a couple hours of sleep 😩

Id just be careful they dont try and fob you off. How old is toddler? Mine is 22 months and Their breaths should be between 25-40 per minute if it is more than thst then their airways are struggling being blocked they need an inhalor or oxygen before it gets worse and leads to needing a nebuliser. Multiple doctors told me my son was fine when he was so bad on our second emergency trip to hospital i demanded the head pead after more hours of being told its fine his oxygen is fine. Turned out his airways were so tightly closed he was close to some dangerous side effects, he was admitted and on a nebuliser for 2 days. Dont let them tell you theyre fine you know when something is wrong mama

Goggle said 2-5 days for mild to moderate RSV and up to 7 days for severe RSV. I would maybe get seen again if she’s not improving.
