Cant talk aboutthis with mom despite my age

Hi, okay so im a 27 yr old adult, and well to keep it short i cant ask my mom bout this type of shit cause then she'll automatically think tht im trying to avoid pregnancy, and prohibit me from ever seeing him again. Okay, so i just want to know how one can tell the difference of their cervical mucus discharge... because honestly she nor anybody ever taught me how. So I'm a bit confused. I mean yeah, now i am trying to avoid pregnancy, but yrs ago i was curious and wanted to know. So yes, can someone please help me with this dilemma of mine?
