For context… I’ve met this guy once in person at his place. Then I invited him over to mine and explained that nothing was going to happen but he could spend the night if he wanted to drink. To which he then decided to decline as it was ‘no fun then’.

It’s really made me question myself. I’ve had a lot of negative experiences with men. Made me doubt whether I have pegged him with the latter on the assumption it is all men. Idk please help.

If a guy had to insist or point out that he is a "nice guy" while also being a dick, then he is not a nice guy. You didnt misinterpret anything. He meant what he said and got his panties in a twist when he was called out for it and didnt like being made out to be the player that he is. I think you saved yourself a lot of trouble from this one. Block and move on!

I think he's making it very clear that what he wants is a sex date. If you're not willing to give that to him, it's not worth his time. This is not about you as a person. He's not interested in you as a person, even if you're the best person in the world. He just wants a sex date. He didn't mean that you are no fun as a person. He meant that he wanted to have fun when he came over to your place and if you're not putting out, he's not coming. So if that's not the type of relationship you're looking for, then I would steer clear of this guy. If you want someone to like you for who you are and spend time with you just because you're a great girl, then this is not the one. ￼￼

Honey your not in the wrong that’s the type of guy that is going to be laying games reading that text message was like reading my own text from my now fathers daughters 6 years ago he said all the things and then when I finally trusted him he completely switched up by then it was to late it took me two years and a baby to get away.
