Do I have the right to be upset about this

TW : Miscarriage 
Today I woke up and started bleeding heavy and it was very emotional for me, I asked my husband if he could just be with me today. No video game, and no plans with his friends because I didn’t want to be alone and be sad. When I went to the bathroom he got a call and when I came out he told me that he’ll be going to his friend’s house. I told him that to me it’ll be disrespectful because I asked him before his friend called and he said “Come on it’s the 4th of July I should be able to be with my friends today”. I told him that I would like for him to be home with me since we lost the baby and he said “I’m sorry, don’t think that I don’t love you, but i’m going. Plus they’re giving me food” he got dressed and left, that was 5 hours ago.

This is divorce worthy. I know people grieve differently, but this doesn't sound like a person grieving in a tough way. He sounds like a jerk. This is who he is. You had a miscarriage and he couldn't be bothered to be there for you but could jump up to be with his friends. Imagine how he's going to handle other and potentially bigger problems in the future (I'm not saying what happened wasn't a big problem btw). He doesn't care about you and he's being loud and clear about it. A big part of being a spouse is to be someone's partner through the worst of times, and he isn't that for you. l'd think long and hard about staying. I'm sorry for your loss, I hope things get easier for you.

Honestly, he would be my ex husband. 😒 What is with these guys who only care about themselves? My partner was with me all day when I had my miscarriage at 8w. Asking what he could do for me to make me more comfortable, making me food, bringing me drinks, my heat pack. It was Easter and we didn't go to a dinner we got invited to.

I could not imagine my husband leaving me like that for his friends after our miscarriage. I was at the lowest point of my Life when I had mine and if my husband did that….. wow I don’t know if we would still be together. I am so sorry you’re dealing with this, hugs to you. 🥺💕💕💕

I think his response is so dismissive of your feelings and very immature to seek a moment of gratification/fun for a lifetime of healthy/bonded/emotionally available partnership. I am so sorry you had to go through the day alone. Did you have a gf or sister to call or have over to support you? If I were your friend I would be there in a heartbeat and just offer to listen and hold space for your grief, letting you lead the way for whatever the day holds. I don’t even know you but my heart goes out to you and I feel a tinge of anger towards your hubby tbh. When you’re feeling up to it I think you need to have a talk with him about how he’s invalidated your feelings and left you feeling unsupported and alone during such a vulnerable and difficult time. Please take care of yourself 🙏🏼
