Is 38 weeks to early to ask dr to strip membranes? I have my 38 week appt today and praying for progress, im so ready to meet my little man.

I'm getting mine stripped tomorrow 37w5d, baby is already 8lb 4oz w/ head measuring 42w - it's time to for this little one to do the cha cha slide right out of the womb!

My doctor wouldn't do mine until I was 39 weeks..she wouldn't even do it a day before. Some doctors will do it before that tho, you just gotta ask

Mine told me at my 37 week appointment if I wanted it done at 38 week appointment she would. Haven't decided if I want it done or not. Want to go naturally and she said it could possibly break my water.

I did it at 38 weeks 2 days and had my baby the next day. Totally worth it to me! He was almost 8lbs and healthy as can be!
