Acne after Birth Control?

Question

Have any of you ladies got really bad acne after quoting your birth control? When I was on birth control I would get a few zits, but not that bad! Now I am really broke out and I'm not sure if it's from quoting birth control or not (been off BC for a little over 4 months) . Any help is greatly appreciated!

I just feel like mine won't go away! I swear everytime I look in the mirror 3 more have appeared!

Yes this happened to me! I never had bad skin before going on the pill and then when I can off it about 5-6 years later I had terrible acne! It eventually went away on its own after a few months! I did try lots of things but I think it was just my body re adjusting after coming off the pill! It's frustrating but you may just have to wait it out!

This happened to me too! It was so bad that I went back on it (different brand of pill). After quitting the different brand a few years later, I didn't get the bad acne again. It's totally hormonal, so you just have to ride it out...

Thank you so much ladies for all of your comments:) it makes me feel better that I'm not the only one who has/is going trough this! I guess in the end when I get pregnant and have a baby to hold it will all be worth it:)

Yep I have been having the same issue.. really oily skin and a few pimples here and there..6months off bc

I got terrible skin when I came off bc, it seemed to last forever! It's sorted itself out now, it took about 15 months though! X
