Pregnancy and weight

Sorry just need to vent: One thing that bothers the crap out of me is when a man or woman says you're gaining too much weight. Especially when that person looks like they are carrying twins and they aren't even pregnant. My soon-to-be FIL says that the reason I'm going to have a big baby is cause I gained a few. My ob has said nothing about my weight. Only was concerned that baby was measuring early. I'm so annoyed with this man. I swear he only says things to hurt me. It's not funny. Hubby reassured me that I'm not fat and that I'm making healthy choices. He said his dad will eat his words when baby comes out big and I go back to being skinny again. Hoping to get this asshole out of my house soon so I can enjoy my home again.
