Brown period!?

I went and visited my boyfriend on December 31st. We had sex that night and I'm not on birth control and we use pullout method or when he feels like he's going to cum he puts a condom on. We had sex like every other day I was there till the 7th of January I went back home. On the 6th I was spotting then on 7th I had a heavy flow it stopped the middle of the 8th and I have a rusty brown discharge which lasted till 11th. My period was early to I should have had it middle of he month around the 15th or 16th. My periods always last 5-7days and it's very heavy. I'm not sure if I should see a doctor or not. My periods are always on time and I've never had a period like this.
