Stop breastfeeding after a month?

Question

Wil my baby be okay if I stopped after a month? I will need to go back to work after a month and I'm unsure if I will be able to pump enough for her for the few hours I'm away. My job isn't boob friendly so I can't pump and have someone come pick it up.

I've considered pumping and using formula but I heard it's not good to mix the two. Is it best to strictly bottle feed her instead?

I really need help with this.

Legally, your work has to allow you extra breaks and a place that isn't the bathroom to pump.

I have to go back after 2 weeks 😩. I will try and pump as long as I can but will probably supplement with formula. It's okay to mix them. Even if they get some, it's better than none

Breast milk is best but your baby will do just fine. 4 weeks will already give the kid a lot. Colostrum is the most valuable. Lots of women are unable to breastfeed at all and so their babies do formula all through and they are still very healthy!

Yea do what works for you. I was able to do a whole year. I also pumped a lot before going back to work and I pumped twice to three times a day. I had two ice bags for milk and then nursed almost exclusively on weekends to bring oroduction back up. I drove myself crazy.

However do what works for you and do not feel any worry. The main idea is that you love your baby and want what's best.

ANy amount of breast milk is beneficial to your baby. Whether it be an ounce or 15 a day. You can mix them. Talk to the lactation person where you deliver. Do what is best for you where it be continuing to BF, mix both or just do formula. No Right choice just Your choice.

It's the law that they have to provide you with a space for pumping and a space for safe storage...but if you do decide to stop yea your baby will be fine make sure you find the right formula for your baby and make sure baby can tolerate and and you don't get too encouraged

I could only when fully feeding pump 2 oz a time my guy drank 3/4 oz at a time I was mix feeding with bottle and I gave him a snack at night just to tie him over till his bed feed and  to stimulate me but his main tea feed was formula even when I was capable of feeding it knocked him out and kept him full all night was getting 5 hour stretches at night from 3 weeks on now he does 10 hour ones at 4 months he survived the mix feed I also freezed some so if he was sick or something I could give him breast milk feed

You can stop but you can also formula feed during the day and breastfeed at night if you want to. I supplemented with formula and it worked out great. Good luck!

Also your job has to provide you a sieve to pump if you want. But don't feel bad if you don't. I wouldn't want to pump and on top of it pumping never really worked for me anyway.

It's fine to strictly breast feed and it's fine to strictly formula fee and it's fine to do both. Do what works best for you and your baby and don't let anyone make you feel bad about your decision :)
