28 weeks on my wedding day?

Hello, I just found out I was pregnant on the 8th and my wedding is June 18th! I am 6 weeks and 2 days now but will be 28 weeks on my wedding day. Any suggestions for getting married while pregnant? I already have my dress but looking at other people's bellies at 28 weeks makes me think that I will probably have to find a new dress which is heartbreaking. I'm assuming there will be no way to conceal my tummy for my ceremony? I don't want to squish my little peanut. My dress is only tight down to the bottom of my rib cage then it's flowy. I have lost 15 pounds since I bought the dress (pre pregnancy) so hopefully we can make something work. All of my clothes are currently too big on me and I'm hoping that with this pregnancy I will grow back into them and the same with my dress.

It's a lovely dress, but I don't see how that would work at 28weeks. You need a maternity dress or an empire waist line. I would continue with the wedding and just get a new dress. For me the marriage is so much more important than the dress. I wouldn't want to wait to marry my guy, but that's just me. 8 years and I love him more now than ever

It depends. I worked in a bridal shop and we had pregnant ladies 8-9 months pregnant come in and buy dresses that were fitted all the way down, or mermaid style. It just depends on how your body carries. If it's a lace up back it'll be easier to make it fit, and you can ask how much it could be let out at the seams. Some can be let out a few inches, some can't be let out at all. You also could have a panel seen in the back if it's not a lace up and that would give you more room. I'd keep an eye out for a dress you think might would fit better, but I wouldn't rush and buy anything until closer to time.

I got married at about 20 weeks pregnant, my tummy had already started to show, but my dress had the room for it. We moved up our wedding day from this coming summer to October so we were married before baby came. Your dress looks like it may be forgiving, you may just need to worry about having it altered for your chest

That is a beautiful dress and it would be a shame to not be able to wear it. With the waste being so high maybe you will be able to still wear it if you carry low. I also wonder is maybe you could have the dress adjusted so the waste is higher or cut in a reverse V to give your peanut all the room they need? Good luck with whatever you choose and congrats!

Congrats on both the wedding and the baby ! But yes probably looking for a new dress is a good option! My friend was going through the same dilemma and she loved her dress so much she decided to move the wedding Date, she was having it in June too now is March 5th! So just an idea! I would've done the same too, think about the wedding pics too!!!! Not sure if you want all of our wedding pics looking a bit bigger than usually.

I'd be more worried about the boob room than the belly room... There is no way to really predict how your body will change by then, so I would say put the dress issue to the back of your mind and try to focus on other things until you start to show and you can get an idea of what will fit.
