Syncing periods ?

My friend told me if you hang out with someone enough , or if you live with them , your periods can become synced and you can have the same cycles

​My question is , is this true, and how much do you have to hang out with someone for it to become synced ?

Living with my mom and sister, the three of ours would overlap, but we never started the same time. 
​My wife and I have only been on our periods at the same time once, but our periods are fairly close together.

Yes I synched my period and the day after I was still on my period I made her have her period. I hang out with here every time I'm bored.

Me and my best friends hung out through out the school year a lot and by the middle of it we all got our periods within two weeks of each other at least if not the same day or week

It is true. I think it takes a couple months for them to be synced but I could be wrong on that.

Yes it is true. I work in a room of 8 women and we are almost all in sync with each other. When I was younger I used to spend so much time at my cousins house that I synced with her and my Aunt.
