Scared to test

Back in 2003 or 04 Dr told me I had blocked tubes and couldn't conceive sexually, so I tried iVf. After three failed attempts I gave up. Fast forward 13 years. I am now 41 and have not been trying (just enjoying being a newlywed!) At the beginning of the month I noticed it was about time for my af, but it didn't come. As of today, I am 19 days late which has NEVER happened before. Also, with my last period on November 29th it was about a week early, light for 5 days then spotted for 2. Normally I am light to medium for 3-4 days. Has this ever happened to anyone else? I am soooo afraid to take a test. Any advice
