Shamed while breastfeeding.
Does being shamed while breastfeeding in public happen a lot?
We took our 11wk old son with us to dinner and I didn't have a cover to breastfeed, so I went out to my car. It was dark and I didn't think you could really see in, so I sat in the front seat to nurse him.
A woman walks by and says, "oh, that is disgusting".
I just cannot understand a woman who would respond that way.
I've about lost my nerve to ever attempt doing it outside of the house again.
