Early Wednesday January 13th, I had high blood pressure and was very swollen
Early Wednesday January 13th, I had high blood pressure and was very swollen. Called my dr and he wanted me to come in for a check up. He checked my urine and my protein was well over 300! So he admitted me into L&D and had me put on a monitor measuring contractions (I wasn't having any yet) and Sophia's heart rate. We were in the little small monitoring room for a long while. About 2 we got to go back I a actual L&D room. I was still being monitored in there to make sure Sophia was okay. And I also has preeclampsia. Around 4 my dr came in and put this thing called a cervadil in me down there. It almost immediately started contractions. They were SOOO bad!!! (My Drs plan was to have me keep the cervadil in until midnight and if I wasn't in full labor then, then he ould start me on a pitocin drip at 5 in the morning. We were gonna have a baby on the 14th either way). But then Sophia's heart beat was going way up then bottoming out. She flat lined a couple time and the nurses kept running in and finnaly at about midnight on the 14th, they said they had to do an emergency c-section. K was extremely nervous!! They took me back and prepped me and did my surgery. And my baby girl Sophia Lynn Willams was here at 12:48 am January 14th, 2016 weighing 4 lbs and 8.5 oz! I was 36+5 weeks but due to me having preeclampsia she was small. But she is so healthy! No NICU!! And no other problems so ar! *KnockOnWood!* The only problem I am having is breast feeding her. She can latch and suck a few time but I don't think anything is coming out (help on that would appreciated). I'm attempting to type all of this half asleep. She gets fed every 3 hours (right now her daddy is feeding her a little premade for premie's. Because of her blood sugar Needs to stay normal. Plus her not eating more than about 20ml isn't that good. But I love my baby girl so much! She is fussy right now, so thank you for reading this!!
