MIL mad because we are moving out?!

So I am currently 36 weeks pregnant (Doctor says I'm further along and could have baby any day) and I've been complaining about being in my in laws house ever since they moved in his sister and THREE kids (ages 2,4,&6) in a 2BR house.. We have a very very small room not enough room for all of our stuff plus a newborn, so we saved up and we just got an apartment.. Thought it would be a happy thing! But my husbands mother is pissed, upset, and won't talk to us because we will no longer be living there.. She doesn't understand why we wanted to move or why we need more space.. I mean really we are having a baby and have no where to put his crib, bassinet, much less his clothes.... What do I do to make this better??

If you feel you made the right choice for your family you should still be happy and excited. I'd tell her you're sorry she feels upset and leave it at that, personally. I don't feel you've done anything to warrant you catering to her anymore than that. She sounds like she needs time for it to sink in and to accept it.

Um 8 people going on 9 is wayyy too many people living in a 2 bedroom. I would not be able to do that. It sound like a giant, claustrophobic, hot mess to me.

I think she's just really upset at the fact that she watched you grow and was excited for the baby's arrival only to find out she won't be living with it as anticapted. She's probably fading really bummed about that, and I wouldn't blame her. But it's fact of life, you couldn't stay there. Her disappointment is blinding her and distorting her reality which is why she doesn't think it was such a bad situation. She may even be taking it somewhat personally. I would suggest taking her out to breakfast/lunch/dinner (not all three lol) and explaining to her that it's not personal and that you just felt that there simply was not enough room.  If age still remains upset then that's on her and at least you tried. Regardless this will blow over, there's always drama till the baby arrives. Babies change everything and tend to have a magical way of healing most relationships when you let them.

We had 11 ppl in a 3 bedroom and we had the loving room. Was way to crowded 
Now we live with 7 almost 8 I'm crammed in a small ass room. We want to move but he keeps saying what about mom. 
We already live with mil, bil 
And I hate it. And I don't blame u for wanting to move
