Nits!!!

I work as a teachers aid at a school and I got nits from one of the children. I've done the nixx treatment lice shampoo, used the comb, and tried mayonaise. I have been sent home from work for 3 days because they have a no nits policy. I've also had 3 people try to help me pick them out, supposedly they're at the root. I called a few salons in my area to ask if they could cut my hair and they refused. I'm doing all I can do, cleaning, Washing and drying bedsheets and clothes, spraying furniture What else is there that I can do besides shaving my head myself? I don't want to miss another week of work.
